BOP CAN and Fluted Hanger Assembly

The BOP CAN provides a pressure barrier and uniform circumference around the production tubing, power cable and control lines to allow BOP Rams to close off during well testing with an ESP.

It has two main bores, first the production bore and secondly a penetrator bore which allows a sealed penetrator unit to seal around both the power cable and into the body of the BOP CAN.

At the lower end of the BOP CAN is an eccentric fluted hanger and threaded mandrel for accurate space-out, this ensures the BOP Rams are correctly positioned to the centre of the BOP CAN.
