Dry-Mateable Vertical Connectors

The vertical wellhead penetrator is one of RMSpumptools’ most time-served products, comprising a lower hanger penetrator and a surface connector. They are able to withstand a broad spectrum of downhole conditions, with the flagship Harsh Environment (HE) models designed specifically for wells with high H2S and CO2.

Both items can be factory moulded to a range of cable types and sizes, many of which are stocked by RMSpumptools. Power specification ranges from our standard 140 amps / 5 kVAC, up to 250 amps / 8 kVAC, with a working temperature of 450°F achievable. A vast array of profiles is available off the shelf and bespoke solutions can also be accommodated for, allowing everything from shape and materials, through to power and pressure specifications, to be tailored.
