Major Contract Awards for Subsea Business

RMSpumptools has been awarded three major contracts for subsea wet-mate connectors and feed-through systems, the first of these for the Chevron IDD Project in the Makassar Strait off Sulawesi, Indonesia which will utilise WellConnect™ Electrical Wet Mate Connector systems for Subsea Tree, Tubing Hanger and Tubing Hanger Running Tool applications.
Market demand for robust and reliable connectors has led to a contract award in Trinidad, which allows Operators to monitor in shallow waters through more efficient deployment of subsea infrastructures which can only be achieved by using the RMSpumptools Concentric Wet-Mate System. The award further establishes the unique product range and scope of Wet-Mate Connectors RMSpumptools holds within the industry and underpins its standing as a technology leader in this field.
Further business has been awarded for the second phase of the Statoil Snøhvit project for Horizontal Wet Mate Connector Feed-Through Systems. This follows the first phase deployment ten years ago, proving the longevity and reliably of the technology in the Barents Sea for this natural gas project.
