Overview
The WellPower™ HV Power Wet-Mate Connector is a Split-Phase connector allowing a single or 3-phases to be applied and utilises technology proven in the marine environment, providing long term reliability. The connectors bring many benefits to subsea and downhole power requirements, providing innovation to some of the industry’s major challenges.
The plug (female) connector halve(s) is situated within the upper completion, while the receptacle (male) connector halve(s) is fixed within the lower completion. The systems can be located in a subsea tree tubing hanger, tubing hanger running tool, or another subsea structure.
Operational Requirements
- Design Life: Permanently Installed Connector 10 years
- Rated Pressure: Up to 10,000 Psi
- Test Pressure: Up to 15,000 Psi
- Design Pressure: Up to 19,500 Psi
- Working Temperature Range: -18ºC to 150ºC (0ºF to 300ºF)
- Storage Temperature Range: -30ºC to 40ºC (-22ºF to 104ºF)
- Number of Cycles: 100
