It is designed to prevent recirculation of fluid from an operational ESP and allow full bypass capability when the pump is off. The Y-Chek features multiple sealing points as opposed to other fixed pivot options, giving you a more robust and reliable product..

The Y-Chek has a solid housing and does not require a side flange plate for assembly. This eliminates external leak paths and facilitates higher pressure ratings. Intervention tools can easily bypass the ball, allowing immediate access to logging and other operations - eliminating the need for a blanking plug and reducing wireline or coiled tubing operating time.

The RMSpumptools Y-Chek is available in 9-5/8, 10-3/4 and 13-3/8” options and is suitable for multiple ESP applications.
