Looks can be deceiving...
It may look a little shabby but when you consider our ADV (Auto Diverter Valve) was in perfect working order after five years in a well producing dry oil with Asphaltenes and High H2S, it once again solidifies its position as the industry’s leading diverter valve. But don’t take our word for it – here’s what Torben Moller Nielsen – Head of Well Service with the Operator had to say…
“During a recent break-down of the ADV which was located in a well at a depth of 3,980 metres, no significant issues were identified with any of the components. The Melon and Shuttle Sleeve were all moving freely without any obstruction and all the Aflas O-rings and Teflon Back-up rings were in good condition. The ADV had been in the well for five years with daily production ranging between 6,000 and 9 000 bpd, depending on the speed of the ESP - overall the ADV was found to be in good operating condition.”
